Premium, locally sourced Kiln Dried logs, firewood and firelighters based in Matlock, Derbyshire

We are a family-run business based in the beautiful Matlock, Derbyshire, and we pride ourselves on producing high quality, locally sourced wood. Our mission is to provide locally sourced firewood to Derbyshire and the surrounding areas in a sustainable and environmentally-friendly way.

Our wood is sourced from locally-managed woodlands, including local Estates and the Peak District National Park, where it is then extracted and hauled into our yard using a fleet of forestry transport and log trailers. The round wood is then processed using our range of firewood processing equipment and stored ahead of being kiln dried.

We process and dry all of our own logs and kindling, and are proud to be part of the Woodsure and ‘Ready to Burn’ Schemes. Our kiln dried logs are dried to a low moisture content to create the perfect fire, so that it’s a lot easier to light whilst improving the efficiency and heat output of your Wood Burning Stove.
